There should be much better quality control over what goes into the sponsored shortcuts. Many people may not realize it, but many of the 'factories' that support products sold on sites like Temu and Shein are actually labor provided by contracted Chinese prisons. The people there are often prisoners of conscience such as uighurs, democracy activists, christians, Falun Gong, etc. Their sentences are part of a system that can bypass trial. Anyone who thinks this isn't happening is probably just not as well informed. The SNL skit 'Xiemu' wasn't conjured up from nothing. It is pretty spot-on.
At the end of the day, you can take money from whomever you wish, but be honest about it. You are saying genocide, slave labor, and organ harvesting are deal-breakers "unless there is money to be made".
