I used to use firefox a lot, but since the MS Edge browser came along, and I tried it for both me and my wife, I have switched both of us to Edge as a browser. I don't know why, but tabs in Edge don't use up as much memory as tabs in firefox do, and we both keep a lot of tabs open. If you can figure out how that works and implement it in firefox, I will probably move back to firefox. That's the biggest reason why we are now using Edge as a browser.

This message is an update to my previous message about firefox using more memory than the MS Edge browser. I started using firefox again after writing the message, and it is doing pretty well with it's memory management. If this trend continues, I will continue to use it instead of MS Edge and may switch my wife over to it as well. So far so good.
