I never use tab groups. I hate that tabs will group automatically while I'm trying to move them, because I didn't land in the exact spot between two tabs, and getting them ungrouped is a lot more work than grouping them! Is there a setting to turn off tab groups, or at least make it less automatic? No, just give users the option to disable grouping!
Another annoying tab problem I have is the sound icons. I have my speakers OFF unless I want to hear something specific, maybe once a week. 99.9% I want a quiet computer. I can get that. What I can't get is rid of the sound Icons on every freaking tab that is playing something! When I am (trying) to switch between tabs it's annoying to hit the sound icon on the tab and have the sound "turn on" or "off" instead of switching to the tabbed window! Can I get a setting option somewhere to remove the sound icons from the tabs? They are in the way for me.
