Send Tab to Device no longer present on Firefox Android v156

On my Vivo Android phone, there is now only the default share menu with nothing else.

I have the same problem, unfortunately.

It's not only on Android, the send to device option is also missing on Firefox 156 on Linux and Windows.

Chiming in, same here with Firefox for Android. I use the feature quite a lot to send tabs back and forth to desktop and mobile.

It's still here on my phone, after clicking "triple dot menu"->"share button". But I'm chiming in because previously I could directly select my device from the share menu, but now I have to click through to a new menu to select which device (which is entirely useless to me as I only use one other device anyway). There's loads of space above the main share menu, so I don't see why my devices can't be listed there like before.

Send to device seems to be missing on my desktop now, though.

You are correct, I've found it on my phone. And in Firefox on the desktop this option has also been moved. Where first you could send it from your account buton you now can send it via the tab context menu (right click).

Good that the function still exist, but why is Firefox hiding it?

It doesn't exist anymore on Android 156.0.1 version.

I still have it in 156.0.1 on Windows

I checked again - Firefox Android 156.0.1, it's whats being mentioned a bit earlier: send to device still exists, but to select the device itself (e.g firefox on pc) you have to do an additional step now.

At least I found a workaround, but I prefer the old style share layout
