Send mail on EXIT

If I forget to send mail that I've "parked" in my Outbox, when I exit Thunderbird it just sits there until I restart and THEN I get prompted to send the mail

Would it be feasible to add an option to prompt on EXIT to send unsent mail? Or even to do it automatically

I'm not sure why anyone would NOT want to send mail that's already in the Outbox??
