I have been reporting for a long time about the ridiculous number of FF instances running when on only ONE web page, Google is running even on the basic home page, and the sheer amount of collective RAM and CPU power that's being used.
Nobody has replied.
And a long time ago I posted this question too > https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/ff-slow-loading-images-and-videos/m-p/34378#M12537
Nobody replied to that question either, except me that is . . Twice?
I did like FF, but I am finding it can bring your PC to its knees with just one web page open, and NO browser should ever do that.
I have long had my thoughts about a memory leak! Or is it un-checked sloppy scripting?
And to anyone wondering, I have uninstalled FF, deleted profiles and also run this program in a safe mode, and also disabled the few add-ons that I had > Same behaviour. Others have reported similar issues across different platforms, so that tells me it is definitely to do with how Firefox is working, or not in this case.
Either way this needs investigating properly.
