Dear Mozilla Community and Developer Team,
I am writing to you as a dedicated, long-time Firefox user from Turkey
In light of recent developments, internet users in Turkey are facing increasingly frequent social media restrictions, platform throttlings, and information access barriers. In times like these, secure, privacy-focused, and reliable VPN tools are not just convenient features—they are fundamental tools for digital rights, free expression, and unhindered access to public information.
Mozilla has always stood out as a champion for an open, accessible, and safe internet for all. However, while Firefox VPN is supported in many countries, it remains unavailable for users in Turkey. This leaves a vast community of privacy-conscious Turkish users without access to Mozilla's official privacy tools at a time when they are needed most.
We strongly request that Mozilla consider expanding its VPN service coverage to include Türkiye. Bringing Firefox VPN to Turkish users would provide critical support to a community that deeply values Mozilla’s core mission of defending the open web and digital freedom.
Thank you for your continuous work in keeping the web open and user-centric, and thank you for taking the time to consider our request.
Best regards,
A Concerned Firefox User from Turkey
