You can now access your saved passwords right from the sidebar—no more need to open a new tab or window! Just open the sidebar, and your logins are right where you need them, when you need them.

Getting started:

  1. Update to Firefox Release (v145 or later).
  2. Open the Sidebar (via View > Sidebar or the sidebar toggle in your toolbar).
  3. Click on the Customize Sidebar icon.
  4. In the Firefox tools menu, click on the Passwords tool.

I checked out the feature, works pretty neat, thanks!

All I want from this "side bar" is a quick way to turn it off completely. Having a password store in there just makes Firefox more complex and risky to use.

This is a great quality-of-life update! Having passwords accessible directly from the sidebar makes things so much smoother, especially when juggling multiple logins. Just tested it in v145 and it works perfectly. Thanks to the team for continuing to add genuinely useful features, looking forward to seeing what comes next!
