Mozilla Thunderbird link color is unreadable in dark mode

Hello Mozilla and community,

it's bugging me for some time. The low contrast between the dark theme and the link colour is impossible to read for a visually unimpaired normal person.

See here:

I tried to look under Tools > Settings > Appearance but no color options. Maybe, there are colour choices but it would be nice if you could offer accessible default colors.

Regards, Elmar

Thanks to your searchable settings, I was able to find the color settings under the cue "theme".

The default dark theme that I got hides any monospace text like spoilers. It puts white background behind the white text. I cannot really imagine that these are default settings that your UI/UX responsible employees have tested, however I cannot remember having tinkered with it.

In the settings, I checked the checkbox "Enable dark message mode" which was unchecked. I don't know why it was unchecked but in it's unchecked state, it is useless. It seems to use dark mode back- and foreground with light-mode decoration.
