Hey all,

Happy Friday and welcome to another Weekly Recap here in the Mozilla Connect community!

This post will highlight the top 10 most-voted ideas for the previous week (10/11-10/18). While some are ‘new ideas’ and others are already ‘in review’ (learn more about The Idea Journey here), we encourage you to continue voting and add any input that supports your favorite ideas—the more details, the better.

Here they are…

Add Startpage private search as option

Bring back PWA (progressive web apps) (see this discussion here)

Customizable hotkeys

shortcut for different profiles (currently 'In development')

Support JPEG XL (see our most recent announcement here)

Native Vertical Tabs (currently 'In development' and available to try out in Nightly Firefox Labs—learn more here)

Mobile tab grouping

Wallpaper in new tab

Please let us move the new extensions button into the overflow menu

And that's it for this week.

Already gave kudos to the JPEG XL support! Faster loading images are always a win.

Why there are so many ideas (GOOD ideaas and even in development) that posted in 2022?? It's strange... So features really usefull and sad to see them still in development and even unchecked.

This community launched in 2022, so a lot of the most popular ideas are from that year. Are there some specific features/ideas that are listed as in development and unchecked? Happy to try to help get some updates.
