Missing status bar in Thunderbird 143.0.1

Updated to TB 143.0.1 from 142.x.x yesterday on Win 10 Pro desktop.

Have TB using POP3 to download emails from Gmail onto this PC.  With previous TB versions, when I clicked Get Messages, there was a status bar along the bottom of each inbox screen showing the number of new messages at Gmail and their download status as each one was retrieved.  (See image posted in this old OP with similar issue.)

That status bar is missing in TB 143.0.1. I now only know how many new messages there are after they're all downloaded into an inbox.  If no new messages appear in an inbox, I don't know if I actually clicked Get Messages, if the command wasn't send, Gmail didn't respond, or there really weren't any new messages.

So I end up having to click Get Messages again to double-check. This isn't user friendly.

Can we get that status bar back in 143.0.1?

I was able to get it back by toggling the status bar off, then back on again
(hamburger menu -> view -> toolbars -> status bar)

@grundt  - That did the trick!  This seems to stick even after exiting TB and reopening it, without having to toggle it off/on again.

Thanks a heap!
