Android Thunderbird issues from a recent 1st time user. For what it is worth, please note that I am coming to Thunderbird from TypeApp as it was before the terrible recent update that has rendered it next to useless (and have been a big fan of Thunderbird Desktop for a very long time now).
NOTE: For Thunderbird Android I am using IMAP, but no auto sync (i.e. Poll Frequency set to Never and Enable Push turned off).
Please note I am not reporting these as bugs / enhancement requests at this time as I've only just started with Thunderbird Android and would appreciate any feedback before taking things further.
These comments relate to V21.1
1A. No Confirm Send option
1B. No option to delay sending by n seconds (with option to stop send before time runs out).
2. Unify option (set separately for each folder under each account) appears to unify all selected folders into the Unified Inbox. My opinion is that this is not very useful. It only tends to make any sense for the Spam folders (as these are, in effect, a sub-set of the Inbox folders).
It would be far better, for each 'category' of folder, if one could unify across accounts. E.g. unify all Sent folders to a Unified Sent folder, unify all Drafts folders to a Unified Drafts folder and so on. A basis for determining which folders should be unified together is already there, by default, under Settings, Accounts (& select account), Folders, so why not use it?
3. No warning of lack of Internet connection when 'manual' sync attempted.
4. Would be slicker if taping on the hamburger menu symbol opened a pair dual vertical panes, the existing one and another to switch accounts / Unified, rather than the current method of having to access a further drop down list to access other accounts / Unified).
5. When using Export settings / Import settings (File), the main 'General Settings' (i.e. not the account specific General Settings) are not loaded (even though General Settings was selected for Export). I note that there have been some other reports of issues surrounding Export / Import missing some settings, but I have not seen the specific issue that I have described listed before.
