If the filter works with email arrival, what is left to filter every 10 minutes?

I believe what he's trying to point out is that the feature is not working and is therefore worthless. Not to be rude but after all, what's the point of having the option if its not working. Might as well replace the option with a banana and a thumbs-up emoji
In my scenario, I have to login to multiple sites for work that require me to receive a verification email and enter the one time code. When you have 5 different sites doing this, it helps to have the delay that way I have time to get the codes then have the automatically filter rule delete it after a few minutes

@snovshad I ran a few test and was somehow able to figure it out.
In the filter rule, uncheck the second check box for: "Getting new email: (junk classification)"
To run this test, I temporarily went in and change the periodic interval to 1 min so that I dont have to wait 10 min to run the test. I sent myself a few emails with the body and found it actually worked as expected when I uncheck that box. However, the periodic timer appears to be ignored when the "Getting new email" box is checked. Ill have to do some research to see what exactly that box does since I dont fully understand it.
