This is simply a thank you for continuing to provide a menu bar with drop-down menus. It's a disappearing commodity. As a linear thinker, drop-down menus are so much easier to use than seeing icons splayed out across a portion of the screen. You get a list, you choose your item, and boom! You're where you need to be.
