let users choose whether they need to use a new or older version of firefox it reduces search time on many systems for instance i use an i7 intel windows 10 64-bit computer and i could do better with version firefox 62.0 etc

Most software companies consider it a matter of social responsibility to only support software that has been patched against known vulnerabilities, and considering Mozilla's resources, it probably is not practical to maintain too many versions.
