Latest update is unbearable.... slow and freezes everything

I'm just astonished that year after year people have asked Firefox to be fixed from gobbling memory, power, and CPU - and here we are, a decade later, and nothing has been done about it. 

The latest update makes Firefox nearly unusable. It takes so long for a page to load, it uses way too many resources even for a handful of tabs. The browser is getting worse, not better. 

WHEN are these issues going to be fixed???

Please create a performance profile using https://profiler.firefox.com/ with Firefox started in Troubleshoot Mode, then post the link in a bug report with steps to reproduce.  Thanks.

It's not our responsability to do your work for you, you should have test machines to reproduce problems. You want us to use Firefox, whitch used to be a great browser, but now it's becoming a massive pain in the arse. You seem to forget there are way better, and faster browsers out there so buck your ideas up and fix it or it's bye bye customer base.

Try  "Waterfox" which is a fork of Firefox, all the plug ins and extensions work, but it's a bit tighter in security "out of the box" and uses stuff all resources in comparison.

Totally agree, I've been using Firefox for over ten years, Now i've had enough, it's slow, uses to much memory ad so many proccesses running in the background it's become useless. Sites take longer to load, sick of the pre-loader whirling for ages.
