When using Vertical Tabs, pinned tabs are displayed as a compact grid in the sidebar, with multiple tabs arranged in rows and columns.
However, when Expand sidebar on hover is enabled, hovering over the sidebar expands it and the pinned tabs suddenly change from this compact grid into regular-looking vertical tabs with their titles displayed. Still the same panel.
The tabs are still pinned, but their visual representation changes depending on whether the sidebar is expanded by hovering over it.
This feels inconsistent and makes the behavior less predictable. A pinned tab should ideally have a consistent UI representation regardless of the sidebar's expanded state.
Expected behavior:
Pinned tabs should retain the same UI representation when the sidebar expands. For example, the compact grid of pinned tabs could remain a grid even when the sidebar is expanded.
