Silly me! I generally keep Firefox open so I don't have to sign in to my password. After thinking some more about the problem, I decided to exit Firefox and restart. Fixed the problem. I'm not sure why it was a problem; I've kept FF open much longer than this with no problems. Just glad it's solved. I actually used Chrome for awhile, which is probably why I was so intent on a fix. What a disgusting and slow program it is.
