Here are two suggestions to enhance the current Vertical Tabs implementation:
Full-height utilization for a cleaner aesthetic: As shown in the attached screenshot, the vertical tab bar should utilize the full vertical space on the left. This would create a much more polished and visually cohesive interface.
Title bar functionality for unused space: The areas within the vertical tab sidebar that are not occupied by tab items should function as a title bar. This would allow users to easily drag and move the browser window, addressing a common usability pain point.
