I'm tired of 2 step verification with each Firefox Update

Every time, after an update, I have to do a new two step verification for some of my accounts.

I don't know why but it makes me hesitant to update. I also get tired of the notification that a new update is available. I think Firefox just does this so you can feed me a commercial for your VPN or other thing.

Odd, that shouldn't happen.

Maybe you have the option to clear cookies on close enabled? If not, maybe it's an extension that's causing the issue?

this sounds more like an issue with the external websites you are authenticating to and not an issue with Firefox per se.

for example, if a third-party websites uses a previously-verified user agent signature as part of the verification process then naturally the signature for Firefox will be different after the Firefox software gets updated; e.g., User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0

Genau dieses Problem habe ich auch gehabt. Danach musste ich alles neu Einrichten, seitdem holt das Programm nur noch sporadisch eMails ab.
