Making moves

I’m a freelance developer who originally started with Firefox back in its early days, and I made the switch back around 2023. I really want to keep using it as my daily driver, but there are still a few critical issues that need to be addressed before Firefox can truly focus on innovation.

  1. Compatibility with Advanced Web Apps
Firefox still struggles with some complex web applications. For instance, in the AWS dashboard, launching an EC2 instance and using the built-in terminal often results in a blank white screen. That’s a core feature for developers, and it simply doesn’t work reliably.

  2. Performance on JavaScript-Heavy Sites
While mainstream platforms like Facebook run fine, other heavy, modern sites like Bluehost’s control panel tend to lag or break entirely in Firefox. These aren't obscure websites — they're widely used, and Firefox needs to perform better with them.

I'm rooting for Firefox, but before it pushes the envelope with new ideas, it needs to double down on compatibility and reliability in real-world developer workflows.

In Fort Lauderdale Marketing industry, most of us do not use chrome right now. we are more interested in Firefox because it's not annoying like the chrome in term of advertising.
