Apparently Microsoft have created an AI thing that can automaticly write it's own fix for defender and update our computers that we paid for and without consent or notification and turn out computers into boat anchors. checkout the update numbers with google.
The fix is to go into defender turn off encription settings, app and browser control and Account protection and device security some of these functions need turning off. Other than that you can use private windows for eBay shopping. goodluck.
