I cannot play audio or Video on any website I have encountered while I am using Firefox.

While I was using Firefox and trying to play the video, it kept loading and there was no chance for me to play the video online. That happened on certain websites where I cannot play. I know some such as YouTube videos can be played while I am using Firefox, but not all websites have the video playable.

Can anyone know why besides knowing about the new version?

What version of Firefox are you using?

Click on Firefox then About Firefox and in the box will have the version number.

My issue was and still is video/audio buffering when viewing YouTube.

My band width is more than adequate, average 120Mb per sec download,  upload 40Mb per sec, with no issues using Safari.

Hi Rookies,

Hey! I had the same kind of problem on Firefox — videos wouldn’t load on some websites, and even audio from web players like Spotify Premium APK wouldn’t play properly. YouTube worked fine, which made it more confusing. What helped me was clearing the cache and cookies, then checking for any blocked content in the browser settings. Also, try turning off any extensions, like privacy tools or ad blockers, just to test if they’re the issue.

Another fix I found useful was enabling DRM content in Firefox. Some sites, including Spotify and other streaming services, need this to play protected media. Go to Settings > General > Digital Rights Management (DRM) Content and make sure that’s checked. If nothing changes, run Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Safe Mode) to see if the issue still happens. Hope that gets your audio and video working again!
