After a lot of years, I am switching to Brave. I have tried everything, but Firefox is continuously hanging up for long periods of "thinking". There is NOTHING I can do to stop it...it seems to be independent of what I am running in tabs. Over and over and over I sit an stare at a screen that will not change for 20, 30, even 60 seconds...absolutely unresponsive and using up close to 100% of my CPU cycles. I usually shut it down and restart it, and it runs well...for a day or less.
I hope to try it again in the future, but it won;t be for a while, as I am just too frustrated at this point to go back to it.
