How are you managing old Thunderbird MBOX files?

I recently found several archived MBOX files from Thunderbird backups and needed a simple way to open and convert them without losing attachments or folder structure.

Manual methods worked for small files, but handling multiple mailboxes became time-consuming. I later tried BitRecover MBOX Converter Wizard for bulk conversion, and it was easier to manage large email archives.

I’m curious to know what methods or tools other Thunderbird users here prefer for managing or converting old MBOX files?

Hi,

If you have old Thunderbird MBOX files with you, then it's good to keep them organized and backed up before making any changes. You can archive them manually, but managing multiple MBOX files can become difficult over time.

For that, I used SysTools Thunderbird Import Wizard. It allows me to access or migrate old MBOX files. It imports multiple MBOX files into Thunderbird while keeping the same original folder structure and email data. It makes it easier to manage old archives without any problem.
