I have had to add dozens of words because they are just missing. Also your spell check heuristics are terrible and often won't give suggestions even if there is one letter incorrect. It is by far the worst spell check I have seen. How did you screw this up so bad?

I have to agree. I have used Netscape Navigator and have been a Firefox fan for a long time, but the dictionary is really difficult to use. I use Firefox all day for work and the most common frustration is a separation such as "redetermination" is found to be misspelled but only because the dictionary suggests "re determination" which, as a native English, feels a bit foolish. Is there any committee or working group taking place to develop a good library or standards that would improve this. It's the little things, Mozilla, that make you stand out from the rest, that need to be addressed.
