Just a quick reminder that onions are toxic to dogs, even in small amounts. A lot of us don’t realize how often onions show up in everyday foods soups, gravies, leftover pizza, etc. So it’s really easy for a dog to accidentally ingest some without us noticing. 😟
I found a really helpful tool called the Dog Onion Risk Tool. You just enter your dog’s weight and how much onion they may have eaten, and it helps you understand whether the amount is dangerous and what to do next.
I think it's super useful to have something quick like this instead of guessing or panicking. Even if your dog is usually careful, accidents happen. 🐾❤️
