I generally don't update Firefox, because it seems that every time I do, something about how it appears or operates CHANGES. And frankly, we're creatures of habit and constant change upsets us.
I just updated to the latest, greatest, version 138.1. And don't you know, the fonts are all whacked now, and no matter what I do I can't get them to appear as I desire.
Really frustrating, and frankly I'm tired of this nonsense. I see no reason why this crap has to update constantly, or why I can't just turn it off. Yes, I'm aware that I can 'choose' not to install updates....but I still get 'reminded' of the updates being there EVERY TIME I OPEN THE BROWSER. Or whenever the hell Mozilla feels like telling me there's one waiting to screw my workflow and mental serenity up.
Over and out. At some point, I'll stop using this product because of nonsense like this.

I disabled updates with the policies.json method recently, because the update frequency was getting insane. Now I will go back to only updating FF when Whatsapp desktop or something else essential stops supporting the current version. Updates should be 4-5 times a year for FF, 1 time for ESR.

At one point in my video, a black screen appears, and that's normal, it's my strategy, the time it takes to answer Yes in the "User Account Control" (UAC) dialog box.
