After Update 124.0.2 broke my Firefox browser to the extent I had to send my PC to the repair shop for repair and re-install of Firefox otherwise I was stuck forever with Edge (yuk yuk yuk ).
Apparently the "No XP Con file" error was well known but as I could not fix it, so others far away had to, along with turning OFF Firefox automatic updates.
Now I am forever stuck with version 124.0.2 as I do not want to break the machine again, as the repairer is in a city miles away, but now I am continually whinged at every time I open a new Tab that I should update.
I had trust that Firefox updates didn't break stuff, now that trust has gone. I am a veteran hardware-head repairer. Electronic hardware is great, If it ain't broke - you don't have to fix it.
Is version 127.0 a security patch or can I just ignore it?
