FireFox Slow to Start and to Open Web pages. Youtube takes several minutes to play.

For several weeks FireFox has been progressively getting slower to open and to load web pages. YouTube video's take from 20 seconds to 3 minutes to just load the page, then the video has to buffer, (which could be attributed to traffic and other factors on the web or ISP connections), I have Cleared the extensions, history, and the temp files. Some improvement but still very slow. Just to note, I have re-installed with a clean updated version of FF and also have zero problems or wait times starting or loading web pages using Edge, Chrome, or Norton 360 browsers. I have dual boot system with 3.4Ghz processor, 16MB ram, HDD, SSD and have the same problem on Win 10 (Up to date) and Linux Mint, Cin. OS's. so it is a FireFox Problem. Or it seems so. I'm a "end User" only, have no knowledge in fixing speed issue's can only search for work around or get updates to the APP. I like FireFox and want it back, Until there is a fix I gotta use Norton(Chrome)

I have also seen that it takes a little longer to load web pages than Chrome and YouTube videos buffer while playing. Facebook's website also has many problems, such as, when I try to comment, it automatically exits the comment box repeatedly, when I scroll down and go up for some reason, sometimes it goes up, meaning the post moves down one or two (not page stumbling). But I don't get these problems in Chrome. I love Firefox so I don't want to leave it, I just want them to fix the problems. (I found the problems in the Android version.)

Update: The issue has been resolved not sure how. Yesterday I turned on my computer started my chrome browser checked my email. later decided to check if any progress was made to Firefox and it started right up no waiting. Wow! Clicked on my YouTube bookmark and and Pow! it loaded instantly WTF! Pleasantly surprised. I have no idea what happened. It could be that I had to boot from an off state. I usually turn off on Sunday night and turn on Monday morning. 6.5 days on 12 hrs off + or - 20%. On occasion I have to do restarts but always proper shut downs and restarts no hot off and boot. 

I can put Chrome back in the closet and update Firefox now that it's working, hope it stays that way.
