FIrefox renames .exe file to .com when downloading

When I try to download the Android Studio installer for Windows from the official website - https://developer.android.com/studio - Firefox changes the file extension from .exe to .com.

e.g. https://redirector.gvt1.com/edgedl/android/studio/install/2024.2.1.10/android-studio-2024.2.1.10-win...

Tested the same link in Chrome and wget - they download it with .exe extension as expected.

Is it a new security feature of Firefox or a bug?

Firefox version: 131.0.3

OS: Ubuntu 22.04
