I switched to Firefox from Chrome about 2-3 months ago. I really love it and I respect everyone who works hard on it. But lately I have noticed that Firefox seems to be losing its performance. I find it a bit slow while browsing the web, which makes it lag behind Chrome. I have disabled Firefox's tracking blocker feature and cleared the cache but that didn't help either. I invited some of my friends to try Firefox. They used to use Chrome but they also found its performance a bit slow and some websites they needed laggy, so they left Firefox again. Are others experiencing the same? Thanks for reading my comment carefully.

Long time FF user here. Recently at quite often times it gets unresponsive on certain websites (Strava, Komoot, Facebook...) and the tab even crashes.

Usual causes would be:
- You have an extension (ad-blocker, script-blocker, Dark Mode page themer) causing the issue: try visiting those sites inside a Private Window (Menu > New Private Window). All extension don't run then, by default. If there's no issue, one of your extensions is causing an issue. Go to Menu > Extensions and Themes and try disabling one, fully-close all Firefox windows, wait about a minute, bring a new Firefox window back-up, and test a site you know has an issue. If it still does, re-enable that extension, disable another one, and test until you find the one causing it.
Or it might be Firefox's built-in Tracking Protection: go to Settings > Privacy and Security and make sure "Fix major site issues" is enabled. If you still get an issue on particular sites, click the 🛡 icon in the left of the website address bar, and turn-off Tracking Protection for that site from there

it seems that where are only 2 in this world to have that kind of problem

No issues here.
First remember it might be an ad-block or script-block extension causing this.
Go to Menu > Extensions and Themes to see which you might be using, and try disabling one, fully-close Firefox down, wait about a minute, then bring a new Firefox window back up. If there's still an issue, turn that extension back on, and try turning a different one off. See if you can narrow-down a cause.
Failing that, backup your stuff and create a new profile to reset all settings:
Menu > Settings > Sync > Turn on backup to backup your current bookmarks, history and passwords
Then Menu > General > Settings (under "Profiles") > Manage Profiles > Create a Profile
To create a new settings profile for Firefox
Then once you're in the new profile, Menu > Sync > Restore your data to get your stuff back

to me, only private seems to works, that is not my common use

If by that you mean "only private windows seems to work", then that would suggest an extension is causing your usual issues, as by-default no extensions load when in a private window.
So go to Menu (the three-line icon) > Extensions and Themes
First click ⚙ then Check for updates to see if any extensions might be outdated
If that doesn't help, or if no updates were found, then click the toggle to the left of the "..." button for an extension to disable it (you won't lose any settings for that extension), then fully-close all Firefox windows, wait about a minute, then bring-up a new Firefox window and see if sites work when not in Private.
If they do, you've found the extension causing the issue.
If they do not, turn that extension back on, and try disabling another one.
Repeat until you find the one causing the issue.

Okay, can't really think otherwise why sites work in a private window, but not normally.
The only difference is extensions run in normal windows, but usually none in private ones.
So try what I said earlier and create a new profile:
Menu > Settings > Sync > Turn on backup to backup your current bookmarks, history and passwords
Then Menu > General > Settings (under "Profiles") > Manage Profiles > Create a Profile
Start Firefox using that new profile, so all settings get reset
Then Menu > Sync > Restore your data to get your stuff back
You won't lose anything by trying this: you can always switch-back to your current profile later

Cool.
If tomorrow you're like "NOPE!, not doing that, don't wanna risk losing my stuff, sorry!!" then another option download the "beta" version of Firefox from here:
https://www.firefox.com/en-US/download/all/desktop-beta/
You can install that alongside your current Firefox and it's totally-separate: it won't in any-way affect your current Firefox. But you can still do Menu > Settings > Sync > Turn on backup in your current Firefox to backup your data, then Menu > Settings > Sync > Restore your data in the beta one to add your bookmarks, history and passwords into it
Just remember they are totally separate: if you add a bookmark into the "beta" Firefox, it doesn't get added to your current one. They're not synced at-all
