Firefox does not protect privacy

Making moves

Apologies if this is the wrong place to submit complaints.

I tried searching up a potential interviewer’s name using incognito on firefox for ios. When I clicked the person’s profile it automatically switched to the linkedin ios app, which of course will reveal my view quite intrusively.

This defeats the purpose of protecting my privacy if it automatically opens another app without any confirmation or warning. If I wanted to use the linkedin app I would have. Not ti mention if someone mistakenly opens a phishing link, it shouldn’t open other app’s automatically.

I’m scrutinising Mozillas claims more deeply now, I think I might switch to Opera or similar. Alternatively please rectify at the nearest opportunity.
