[Firefox Android 154.0.1] Cancelling a search bar should take me back to the page I was on, not the homepage

Making moves

When I'm on a site/page and tap the search bar, usually to check the full URL. However, when I cancel this action, I'm sent to the browser homepage. The only way for me to return to the webpage I was on is to go to 'Tabs' and select it.

Frankly, this behaviour is bizarre and unacceptable. I have not seen any other browser that does this. Users should be taken back to where they came from when they cancel or abort an action.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a site/page in Firefox Android.
2. Tap the search bar.
3. Cancel this. Either tap the empty space or use the Android back gesture/button.
4. Firefox will send you to the browser homepage rather than the actual site/page you started with.
5. To get back, tap 'Tabs' and select the site you were on.
