Firefox allowing adware garbage (McAfee virusware) when accessing legit sites

Accessing https://www.sqlitetutorial.net/sqlite-python/ produces several adware garbage pop-ups (McAfee garbage alerts ad stating my Mac has been compromised and I need to install their virusware to "fix" it).

This DOES NOT happen using Google Chrome.  Time to stop using Firefox.

Yep - agreed. Have been using FF for decades but alas Mozilla appear to have fallen pray to greed, and now bundle malware with their browser in a bid to line their pockets.

- Not wanted
- Not asked (dark pattern hidden)
- *Cannot uninstall* (couldn't uninstall Firefox either, had to manually clean it)
- => Is malware by behaviour.
