Welcome to Discussions

A dedicated space for community members to provide general feedback and participate in meaningful conversations that will impact future product releases.

Employees will also pop in on a regular basis to share what we’re working on, join conversations, and gather valuable insights.

Here are some best practices when participating in Discussions:

Follow the Community Guidelines

Constructive feedback is always welcome. But inappropriate, mean, or snarky comments about Mozilla, its employees, partners, or other community members will not be tolerated. Let’s be kind and productive.

No bug reports or support requests.

This area is for feedback and product-related discussions. Please file your bug reports at Bugzilla and for support visit our Help Center.

Search first.

If a similar post already exists in the community, join the conversation. This helps keep the conversation focused in one thread and makes it easier for our developers/product teams to review feedback.

If you're introducing a new topic, continue creating a post.

Use labels to categorize your post.

This will make your feedback easier to find and get the proper attention.

Be detailed and constructive with your feedback.

This community is for productive conversations focused on improving Mozilla products. Please provide helpful details when submitting a post. State your case. Show supporting images, if needed.

When replying to a post, stay relevant to the topic.

Take ownership as the conversation starter

Your responsibility as author of the thread is to make sure that other community members who join the discussion are adhering to the guidelines. If a user posts spam or something else that seems irrelevant, we ask you to reply to them directly in the thread. However, if the user ignores this and continues their behavior, you may report them by flagging their post. A community moderator will take it from there.

Or if you just want to leave feedback and be on your way, that's okay too! We'll make sure your feedback is heard and shared with the proper teams.

Thanks and happy chatting!
