Recently, there's been a trend of web pages using font sizes that are way too large to be readable easily (for e.g. like headings and other titles). while the font size on body is of "normal" size. It just slows down everything and reduces readability to grasp content.
There needs to be a new option in Firefox to set the Maximum Font Size limit in pixels for the text. If the font size in an element is higher than the limit, it is clamped to the maximum. There's already a 'minimum font size' setting, this option would go great along with it.
This is even more applicable now, with the emergence/proliferation of AI generated content / websites.. down the road people might need binoculars to read webpages or.... just copy text to notepad
Partial "solutions" explored: Setting a uniform font size using ad blocker rules, adjusting sizes using Font Styles Editor (doesn't always work) .
