I am absolutely sick of everything continually getting more and more round. Most recently the grouped tabs look like speech bubbles for some completely unknown reason. This has to stop. I am completely sick of it and loosing my mind. It does not look good and I am tired of explaining all the reasons why, it has completely lost touch with how a UI needs to be functional: like tab groups representing manila folders containing the pages instead of oddly now speech bubbles. I am NOT a developer, I DO NOT know how to use CSS or whatever flavor of the week coding language to modify internal files to simply not have the browser look like a PBS kids toy. You try to be cute by offering a retro icon of Firefox but represent nothing of what it was. Can someone at least just vibe code a toggle button to turn off rounded corners on everything and implement it into the appearance tab in settings?

To reverse most of the recent change:
URL bar -> about:config -> ENTER -> accept warning -> search nova ->
double-click line "browser.nova.enabled" to change to "false"
You can also install the previous theme here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-proton/
⚠ The ability to reverse Nova may end in Firefox v161, expected Nov 24, 2026

I greatly appreciate this response, but this only reverts some of the things and still has so much that is overly rounded. I think since like version 142 or something? Like a a year or two ago.
This does stop the bleeding so to speak. But i am still deeply frustrated with the direction and mindset behind the modern Firefox.
Again thank you for your solution response.

Your only other options are to look into moving to a "fork" of Firefox, such as Floorp, LibreWolf or WaterFox.
Some of those now come with the new Nova UI by-default, but provide an option within the standard Settings to revert it. Once Firefox removes the code allowing the reversal though, those forks may have little choice but to adopt it, as otherwise they will have to maintain the old code needed to offer it themselves.
Another option is to move to the 153.4.0 "ESR" release of Firefox:
https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/
You'll then avoid the new UI for about a year, until that ESR is retired and you get updated to the next one. You'll need to backup your current Firefox data (Menu > Settings > Accounts and Synchronisation > Backup) and if your data isn't there after you uninstall the current Firefox, then install the ESR version, go back to that screen and use "Restore your data" to get it back.
