What on earth is going on at Mozilla and the development team? Things are getting from bad to worse with each new update. It was already terrible since the past one year. But now it's become simply unworkable. Sites are constantly hanging, crashing, YouTube in particular has to be loaded again and again to play. It's just really bad.
I have a brand new desktop I got two weeks ago, with Win 11, Intel® Core™ Ultra 7, 1 TB SSD, Ultra 7 155H Processor, RAM: 32 GB - yet this is not enough to handle firefox.

* Troubleshooting mode makes no difference. It's equally bad. Always freezing up. Can't input text into fields. It's been really bad since an update a year ago, which made me uninstall it and use an older version, but it's now updated to this mess which is terrible.

Well, what you have wrote is pretty much detailed. I am having issues too with firefox now, keeps on crashing with no message to why it is doing so. even now when I was writing this, My browser just closed, and asked me to restore sessions after starting it again. and it is one of the recent updates, I guess two months earlier. please guys, if there is any way this can be considered.

I'm uninstalling Firefox after this message for this reason - every time I go on Youtube, it crashes it. Im almost sure its intentional on Youtubes side cos they desperately want us seeing their constant ads, so it probably has to do with ad blockers but theres better options like Duck Duck Go browser.

I am sorry to say I have the same experience: Reinstalled my PC *because* Firefox was hanging on inopportune moments but it seems it has gotten way way worse the last week or 3 in stead of improving.
Can the FF team *please* pretty please NOT listen to developers who (always) want new features, but to *users* who want a stable browsing experience?

Right, it was more or less OK until I had some other problems and re-booted, now having trouble trying to play the usual videos on Youtube.
And while trying to post here I got rejected for a bad password, although I am using the same old one, no typos possible as I have it saved in a text file so I just cut and paste it. And I did not find any way to reset the password, so I signed in using my Gmail account/password.
And I keep getting a popup popping up to offer an update of Firefox, but it never shows up right after I reboot, when I could install it without having to close any working windows.
And why are we showing dates the European way, day/month/year, here in the USA?
I am an old friend of Firefox, been hanging around here for years, but I do not use it for paying bills or some other applications that need to be able to sign in, as often it fails at that.
