For me, it was hidden in the Debug settings:
- Open Firefox settings;
- Go to the bottom and find the line where the app version is written (for me, it was “Firefox 137.0 (52703)”);
- Click on it a few times and more settings, under the label “DEBUG”, will appear further down the list.
- Click on the “Experiments” line that appears;
- Find “iOS App Icon Picker Screen” line, click on it and choose “control” (potentially other options could work?);
- Restart the app.
After following the steps above, I got a new line in the Settings called “App icon” (or something similar, my phone is not in English) and I could go there and choose the icon that I want (check attached screenshot).
Hope this helps!

Awesome thanks!
Might be obvious to everyone else, but took me a minute to figure it out, make sure you have “Install and Run Studies” toggled on.
