Recently I conduct some testing on downloading and parsing a large XML (~15MB). It take seconds for Firefox to complete the process but it takes nearly 20 seconds for Chrome to complete. When I check the performance monitor in browser, it shows that most of the time is consumed in a function DomParser.parseFromString().
Any thoughts on the performance difference? Do you think it's a chrome issue or Firefox has made an improvement here?
