Please provide explicit information about how to turn off AI and leave it off.  For me, the constant offering to be "helpful" are intrusive and oppressive. Those wanting to op in can and us wanting to opt out need to be able to do so easily and not have to continue opting out. Thanks

Recently when I do a search there is a info box offer me what appears to be AI generated choices, including chat.

In setting I turn off AI suggestions, check never show box and then the info box will disappear but not permanently.

I found info on using about:config to disable AI features in Mozilla, this works until there is a Mozilla AI evasion of my saying no to AI assist.

Pretty cold response. Here. Just go do some research. You didn't participate in a very important conversation.

How about this: after THIRTY YEARS of using Firefox exclusively, I'm uninstalling firefox, publicly announcing that I am across social media ( I'm a member of a tiny group of over 700,000 by the way ) and I will indeed look for a way to remove ai from firefox. I'll generate and share the script.  But I will promote non-ai browsers until you give us a way of turning it off!

Keep AI out of Mozilla products. If any AI is added, please give us a simple way to disable it all and respect the users decision to do so.
