After using Firfox for a number of hours, my CPU usage increases over time until it is eventually at 100 % and everything get sluggish. I used to run Firefox for days without needing a restart, now I restart several times a day. So, this must be related to some new feature or code that was added in the past few months.
I also used to be able to have 50 to 70 tabs open in one Window and 2 other Windows open. Now I close tabs constantly and run only one Window with 30 or 40 tabs.
My computer is an HP Laptop Intel i5 4TB,24GB of Ram, about 8 years old, but it is the same one I was using when this problem did not exist.
