Hi community,
Hi Firefox developers,
Why does Firefox love Moscow so much?
What do I mean?
I'm using the Ukrainian localization of Firefox. I have just updated to the latest version, and what do I see?
Moscow is listed first in the Clock widget.
Have you heard of Kyiv? It's the capital of Ukraine, not Moscow.
Are you aware of the Russian-Ukrainian war?
Are you aware of basic ethics?
Why is Moscow being prioritized for Ukrainian users?

My location is not in Ukraine, but it's not moscow either. I'm using a remote server located in Germany.
However, Firefox is using the Ukrainian localization, which makes moscow being prioritized even more questionable.
Nevertheless, moscow was shown first in the Clock widget, followed by Berlin and other cities.

I think the difference in the default city could be related to how Firefox determines location, language, or regional settings rather than the Ukrainian localization alone. Testing with a new profile and different location settings is a useful way to narrow down the cause. It would also be worth submitting a bug report if Moscow consistently appears first for users outside that region. For users who regularly explore different mobile applications and APK resources, capcut pro apk is another example where checking the correct version and compatibility can be important. Hopefully Mozilla can clarify how the Clock widget selects its default cities.
