First of all, I'm 81 years old, so be patient. Every year I buy the turbo tax disk (the basic/easy one, with no big wheelings and dealings), and insert it into my desktop computer which has windows 10 and my browser is Mozilla Firefox which I am told is up to date (143.0.4 64 bit). I get messages from I guess turbo tax telling me that I won't be able to do this anymore unless I have Windows 11! Is this true? I can't afford to get Windows 11. What do I do if this is true.

It's true. The alternative for you might be to use the online version.

Software and system requirements change over time, and some tax programs may stop supporting older operating systems like Windows 10. For official guidance and essential tax documents, it’s often best to rely on government platforms directly such as sat.gob.mx constancia de situacion fiscal which can usually be accessed online without needing the latest software.
