Why doesn't Firefox offer Google account sync like Microsoft Edge? With Edge now supporting Google account sync, users can effortlessly include passwords, browsing history, and all data. However, it's disappointing that Firefox lacks this feature. Given the prevalence of Android usage and the habit of saving passwords and data with Google, Firefox should definitely consider adding Google sync to enhance its functionality.

I just downloaded and installed Thunderbird. When setting things up, it looks like my Google account and calendars have synced nicely. For some reason, google tasks aren't imported/synced. It would be nice if tasks could sync. If this is already a feature, I'd like to know how to implement it 🙂

I currently use Thunderbird on my mac, but i use google agenda and google contact on my Android phone. Is it possible to sync them, or will it be a futur solution?

I was a long-time desktop (Linux) Thunderbird user, but eventually became frustrated with its inability to automatically sync my contacts with my phone.  I use Outlook.com, but this suggestion equally applies to those who use GMail for contacts storage. I currently use the Windows Mail app because it gives me everything in one solution but I know that it is going to be replaced.   I can link and unlink inboxes, I can see all my calendars, tasks and contacts synced.  I did add my outlook account to see how that would work, and I would love to move to Thunderbird.  If it can't be considered by the Thunderbird developers could someone else look at this.   I am looking for desktop solutions that give me the same f...

It would be nice if I would not have to set up all my search engines and their short codes with every new installation but could sync them just like my add-ons and history.
