On Firefox Android, I've noticed problems on download management: 1. The Downloads page does not display the progress/status of ongoing downloads. It only displays completed downloads. 2. Firefox for Android is my favorite, but its download manager is not that special, sometimes a file gets downloaded, but mostly the big files fail and do not get downloaded at all, I request you to make the firefox download manager even better like the download manager of Brave and Chrome browser.

When performing a download on Firefox for Android with the External Download Manager option ticked, you get to chose which download manager you would like to use as well as having the option to complete the download with Firefox anyway. This can be particularly annoying when downloading many files one after another. Firefox for Android browser is very good, but its download manager is not proper, because when downloading large files, if the internet speed slows down or the network disconnects, the download fails and you have to download again. Also, if a link expires, you have to download again. Please make its download manager like ADM or IDM download manager, so that even if the link expires, it can update the link and resume the download from where it stopped, without having to start over. Ability to torrent directly in the browser instead of having to install and rely on other software would be safer and a good feature for the browser. Brave Browser already has this feature.

A "save as" dialogue, like the one in the attachment will help to properly name anything before downloading. This will help to avoid the extra step where you need to do it in the file manager   .

as the downloaded items apear only after the download ands, so with slow Internet or large files you don't know if your file is still downloading or not.
