Your news feed that auto populates when opening Firefox has become unbearable. The amount of garbage liberal propaganda (cnn,ap,npr, nbc, cbs) is sickening and pushing me away from what I once thought was a grassroots organically great browser.
The most frustrating thing is that I actively participate in reporting spam and blatantly false misrepresentations, but it doesn't change my feed. And that is unfortunately the most pathetic part on your end.
And on top of all that, it appears you don't try scatter in unbiased media to attempt to even out the messaging.
It's your decision to collect advertising money from whoever you choose, but it is absolutely also my decision to switch to Chrome. I think that would be a sad move to be forced to do, but you have laid the groundwork.
Be better Firefox.

I've switched to Chrome. No problem. If firefox wants to attempt to manipulate me with this relentless fake news propaganda, they can lose customers (and revenue) while doing it. I get it, I'm just one person that moved on, but if more people do this, it adds up and keeps the big tech social justice warriors in check

Well said, and good for you for putting that out there. It is indeed pathetic/manipulative/insulting to us end users, that firefox pretends to give us the option of clearing away these propaganda articles, but in reality, ignores our "dismiss" requests and just continues to load our pages with liberal/left wing propaganda. As if they are saying: "Yes, we know that you THINK you don't want this, but you're just too dumb so we're going to continue giving it to you. Don't worry, we'll wear you down and eventually you'll comply with OUR agenda"

Switched to chrome and it is everything Firefox should be. Very sad that I was forced to make the move. I believed the marketing that Firefox was different, but sadly, they are just as bad as Microsoft.😖

Yep - agreed. Have been using FF for decades but alas Mozilla appear to have fallen pray to greed, and now bundle malware with their browser in a bid to line their pockets.
- Not wanted
- Not asked (dark pattern hidden)
- *Cannot uninstall* (couldn't uninstall Firefox either, had to manually clean it)
- => Is malware by behaviour.
