Why is it that only in Firefox that clicking anywhere on a tab can cause it to close?

Making moves

I am operating on a Linux Noteboook (Frameworks 13) with Fedora 42 though I doubt that this is more than an important notation for some version of the Firefox function.   The version is current to the Distribution, 142.0 (64 bit).

I generally have used the browser without problems, but even having the cursor well to the left of the segment of a tab can cause the tab to close down and that strikes me as a bit crazy.   In the case of a single tab at the left, the whole application sometimes closes down, though that is less frequent.

As the nature of the event is in the loss of something, I would need to have a video of a screenshot and that is not anything for which I have made some configuration either on the Notebook nor to the extent of recording a video from a Smartphone.

Is there some glitch here unique to my experience?

Is there some way to troubleshoot this to prevent it from continuing to cause me a problem?
