Since updating to Firefox 145.0 on Windows 11, I've been experiencing persistent high CPU usage, even with just a few tabs open. My laptop fan runs constantly, and overall performance has noticeably degraded, particularly when streaming YouTube videos or browsing other media-heavy sites.
Troubleshooting Steps I've Already Taken:
- Disabled all extensions and tested in Safe Mode with no improvement
- Cleared cache and cookies but CPU usage remains high
- Scanned for malware and system is clean
- Created a fresh Firefox profile but issue persists
Has anyone else encountered this after the update? I'd really appreciate any suggestions or potential fixes!
